FJ Jones

FJ Jones (she/her/hers) has resided in Rosharon, Texas since 2004. Before relocating, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral and Social Science from Felician University. Following her arrival to the Houston area, she pursed her Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Saint Thomas, which she obtained in 2008. Since that time she has been in the employ of Houston ISD as an Educational Diagnostician, assessing students with Special Needs. FJ. has been married for 15 years and is the mother of two teenage boys.
Currently, FJ chairs the Brazoria County Chapter of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats and serves as Secretary of the Pearland MLK Celebration Committee, Secretary of the Lakes of Savannah HOA, and as an Elected Official on the Board of Directors for Municipal Utility District #21.
